My Story

I spent twenty years in the corporate world. Four of those as CEO of a global software business. I was good at it. I understood strategy, people, and pressure. What I did not understand, what nobody had ever taught me, was that I was being abused.

It took losing almost everything to finally see it clearly. The coercive control. The false allegations. The parental alienation. The systematic dismantling of who I was. By the time I understood what had happened to me, I had already lived through the worst of it alone.

That is when I started writing.

Not because I thought I had all the answers. But because I knew there were men sitting exactly where I had sat: confused, ashamed, and completely invisible to a system that was never built for them. I wrote the first book for those men. Then the second. Then the third. Eight books later, I am still writing for them.

I have been featured on British Thought Leaders on Sky TV and Epoch TV, the BBC, and am a member of the Professional Speaking Association. I am endorsed by Abused Men in Scotland. I am the founder of Leave No Man Behind, a movement that has placed books in countries across the globe, in the places men in crisis actually go.

I left the boardroom to stand on the front line for male survivors. I have never looked back.
